Adults

Medical Support
Medical Support
If an adult is facing a life-threatening medical condition and lacks the financial means to access treatment, HFZC can offer assistance. While our core focus is children, the well-being of family members is important, especially when the adult’s health directly impacts the children in our care or the children we are assisting.
Food and Basic Needs Assistance
Food and Basic Needs Assistance
For adults struggling to meet basic needs, such as food and shelter, HFZC may be able to help through its community-driven feeding programs or emergency relief efforts. Adults in extreme poverty can benefit from the organization’s resources aimed at alleviating hunger and providing essential supplies.
Family Support Services
Family Support Services
HFZC understands that the welfare of children is deeply connected to the well-being of the entire family. In cases where the head of the household or a caregiver is unable to provide for their family due to illness, unemployment, or other challenges, HFZC may intervene with support programs to ensure the family’s stability.
Referrals to Partner Organizations
Referrals to Partner Organizations
HFZC collaborates with other organizations that may have services specifically aimed at adults. If your request for assistance does not fall within HFZC’s primary scope, we may be able to refer the case to other groups that can provide the necessary support.
Mental Health and Emotional Support
Mental Health and Emotional Support
Adults struggling with mental health issues or those who are emotionally overwhelmed due to their circumstances can access emotional and psychological support. HFZC’s involvement in family and community wellness may extend to providing counseling or connecting individuals with professional mental health services.
Skills Development and Empowerment
Skills Development and Empowerment
HFZC aims to empower individuals through skills training and livelihood programs. If an adult is struggling due to unemployment or lack of skills, they may qualify for one of HFZC’s programs designed to promote self-reliance. These initiatives often focus on providing education, vocational training, or small business opportunities to help break the cycle of poverty.
Community-Based Interventions
Community-Based Interventions
In cases where an adult is experiencing hardship due to factors such as domestic violence, discrimination, or community exclusion, HFZC may mobilize community resources to address the underlying issues and offer appropriate interventions. This could include mediation, access to shelter, or legal advice.
Assistance for Elderly or Disabled Adults
Assistance for Elderly or Disabled Adults
If an elderly person or adult with disabilities is in need of special care or assistance, HFZC may provide help in partnership with other care providers.
